Anuria = post renal until otherwise proven. Again the catheter was flushed and swapped out, with no resolution. Intra-abdominal pressures were measured: IAP was 39 mmHg. The diagnosis was abdominal compartment syndrome caused by a urinary leak, secondary to transection of the left ureter, the right ureter continued to drain until overwhelmed by abdominal hypertension. |
